Win 2000/XP. 95/98/ME use winipcfg.

Don't forget good ol' NT4





Side note : On Linux it's ifconfig

Windows 98SE picks/up the capability of using ipconfig, but the original W98 only has winipcfg.

Your right, I just remember. Win98, 95a b c have winipcfg. Win98se, nt ws sr, me, 2k and xp have ipconfig.

Ping on Linux, doesn't just go for four replys, it goes on indefinitely . (default mode no switches)
