| How are you gentlemen and ladies,
I would first like to state how much this site is useful towards my quest for certifications within this computer vast behemoth of an industry. I am fresh out of high school, currently attending a tech school for about 7 weeks so far , and learning every minute of every day. So far I have began my search for all the qualifications and certs to become a Network Adminstrator.I have came to these forums in search of the true well-experienced opnion.I was wondering what I should look into and study hard to know the material I need to know in obtaining my future goals, becoming a network admin. Any web-sites, Books, Kinds of certs I should look into, or any information possible would be greatly apperciated. Thanks in advance and good luck to the ones much like myself, starting out from somewhere and trying to become someone within this computer world. | |

You've come to the best certification forum on the 'net, plus you've already identified A+ & Network+ as your starting points.

Fair point, though. You're entitled to your opinion. Let's blame Enforcer.
Bear in mind, though, that this is the General Discussion forum.
I wouldn't have hung around here for the last 3 years if I didn't get invaluable help & support from the "serious" forums here.
Try clicking the Forums button at the top of the page & lurk around the A+ forum for a while before writing this place off. | |

Hey Dauthi, stop on by the A+ forum (bottom of page) and we can sure fix you up.
Don't let the naysayers dissuade you. This is still one of the best sites going for certification.
