| Glad to see/hear from you, was getting a bit concerned we hadn't heard from you, hope all is well with you and yours.
Shame about Henri and Vierra though isn't it.

| Did you take a direct hit, or did you get hit by the feeder bands? | |

| Nice Tractor Yanqui.
Didn't we have a John Deere on here once upon a time?

Thanks--it's the classiest vehicle I own; the most useful, too, but definitely not the fastest. Since I can't get hubby to put a winch on my Jeep, the tractor comes in handy.

Yeah, we did, I just revisited a thread he posted to--picture of Elvis when Elvis still looked good.

| Yep took a direct hit, some people think a tornado touched down in the street. Mine was one of the few houses in the area not to be damaged, two were condemed.
Almost every tree in my yard got blown down.

| Well, there's a possibility (albeit a small one) that it will miss you and come directly at us.
My son-in-law is studying meteorology (spelling that is tough; typing it is worse!) and he says this could be another Camille. You probably don't remember Camille, but the Gulf Coasters do. Camille was a Cat4. Frederick, who hit here in 1980, was a 3, and that's the benchmark Mobile-area hurricane. Camille was further west, Mississippi/Louisiana, but she was downright nasty. We've got our 3-day kit packed, except for the sleeping bags and pillows, which we grab out the door. I hope you're spared; you've had yours, and we're due anyway.

| Hurricanes heading for us usually go east of Florida once they reach the Gulf stream and head north. ( fingers crossed ). | |

| Looks like most of the computer models run at 2 edt today show it pretty much missing you. If it holds true to prediction (who wants to bet on that?) you'll get some wind and rain, but right now it looks like a direct hit is not coming your way. |
