| Hi,
Everyone talks about Linux as THE free os, but I found BeOS. Does anyone use it? If so, what compatibility issues are you finding?
Just curious.
P.S. Have you found any training classes for it (beyond BeOS's web page)?

| Oh well. I guess there's my answer. Was hoping to start a discussion on it. | |

I played around with the Personal edition when it was available and I think it still is, but this might be why you didn't get many responses.

| Interesting. I didn't realize the name change. I was most familiar w/ this:
http://www.beosmax.org/html/
I had done a search, but had looked under BeOS Max which was the os installed on a used computer I purchased. I completely missed Haiku.
It seems as if open source BeOS is blending w/ Linux. It would definately make it easier to find learning resources.
Thanks. |
