A friend of mine (honest) uses AOL ( I know I have told him). Anyway his machine has gone up the spout, no doubt thanks to AOL software. Anyway he has over a thousand e-mail addresses in his contacts. Surely these contacts will be saved with AOL not on the hard drive. He isn't very computer literate, so he'd go with the default. I have managed to save two AOL directories but I can't see any obvious like .pab or anything like that. Anyone know how the address book works with AOL. Cheers

AOL runs totally off of their servers, that is one of their selling points. A member can use any computer and all of their stuff follows them. The Address book should be available to him as soon as he gets logged in again.
