I'm trying to install Service Pack 1 for IE 6 on a Windows 2000 server.

I went to "Add remove programs" > Add Programs > Windows Upgrades.

The upgrade site discovers I don't have the service pack, and tries to DL /
Install it.

But then I get into an endless cycle of "You need to be in install mode. Are
you? Yes or no?" "Yes" "You need to be in install mode. Are you? Yes or
no?" "Yes" "You need to be in install mode. Are you? Yes or no?" "Yes"
"You need to be in install mode. Are you? Yes or no?" "Yes" "You need to be
in install mode. Are you? Yes or no?" "Yes" "You need to be in install
mode. Are you? Yes or no?" "Yes"

When I click cancel to get out of it, of course, it doesn't install.

Suggestions?
