Wow, People, the Hardware Forum is really taking off!
We’re online some 9 Days and closing in on 500 Posts/45 Threads.
This is beyond my wildest expectations, putting in some extra work on the last few days to get the Forum to a good start, but that is no longer needed.
Some People sent me PM’s about how cool that new Forum is, about what a good job i am doing...but guess what?
Without you Guys/Gals posting, the Forum is nothing!
Special Thanks to all that helped getting this cool Forum started and of course to Webmaster, who was listening to people....and started it in the first place.
Keep up the posting, all... and I will see you over
THERE!!!

its hotter than hell here... feels like I getting cooked like a goddamnd egg.

no problem sandy, actually, theres plenty of food like forbesl laying around...

I just dont come around as much since somebody at examnotes banned my ip range.

I just read a quote from the los angeles timees that freedom of the press was made an international human right in 1948.

I wonder where freedom of speech fits in that equation.

LOL! Keep trying, you might figure it out someday.

You do remember the acceptable terms of use policy you agreed to when you joined this site. (It was that little 'Yes' button you clicked on).

Freedom of speech is alive and well on the 'net. You want to talk about your ridiculous political agendas, go create yourself a little website, and talk about anything you want. It's your site, and you can play by your rules. Not too hard of a concept for most people to grasp. Kind of straight forward and falls in line with the couple of snipits of info from the terms of use section on this site that I'll post here as a refresher for you. I bolded some items for you. Don't thank me, I do it because I care

"Right to Remove or Disable Access. If ExamNotes.net is made aware of Member Content that may be (i) libelous, obscene, excessively violent, scandalous, defamatory, or that ExamNotes.net determines in its sole discretion to be otherwise unacceptable, undesirable, or objectionable, (ii) a violation of any law, regulation, or rights of a third party, including, but not limited to, rights under the copyright law and prohibitions on libel, slander, and invasion of privacy, or (iii) a violation of the Acceptable Use Policy set forth herein, ExamNotes.net has the right, but not the obligation, to remove or disable access to that Member Content. For Member Content that Member reasonably deems to be in violation of law, ExamNotes.net shall remove such Member Content pursuant to ExamNotes.net's Copyright Policy herein."

Hmmm...pretty straight forward, especially that part about "ExamNotes.net determines in its sole discretion to be otherwise unacceptable, undesirable, or objectionable"

"ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
You agree to not use ExamNotes.net to:

upload, post or otherwise transmit any data or content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.

Hmmm...I seem to recall that the majoity of your posts seem to fall into that category. Does calling/incinuating that certain members are "nazis" ring a bell? Those statements of yours fall into the racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionale category.

These terms kind of throw a wrench in your I should be able to talk about everything and anything I feel like on this site, and if I can't, I'll cry about censorship, nazis and freedom of speech restrictions theory. Too funny.

Again, "House Rules apply" Einstein. If you don't like it, feel free to leave and start up your own little website.

Bottom feeder? Good, maybe you'll start growing a second more intelligent head from eating all that contaminated crap at the bottom. One can only hope....

Have a nice day

His belief is "You have to listen to me and believe how I believe, otherwise you're wrong". Anyone who doesn't fall in line with that is violating his "freedom of speech".

wow! what the heck happened to my little thank you-thread?

And why did he dig that (almost exact) one year old thread up?

Some people just have too much time on their hands.

I think Onoski might mean this one: What the cluck is quilting?

Yeah, I'm sure it's frustrating when we don't take ourselves too seriously.

When the threads get goofy, I just see it as a chance to learn how to relate to other IT people.

My philosophy is that IT is about people, not computers. You build computers to relate, store and manipulate the information you get from people. Learning to relate to people is as essential as learning the technology.

However, I'll do my best to keep your thoughts in mind when posting.
