| OK. My computer got screwed up, so I had to get a new hard drive. Before, I was able to create copressed folders simply by right clicking on the desktop, going to 'New' and clicking 'Compressed Folder". Now that my computer has been wiped, I no longer see that option. I don't wanna pay for an application. Anyway, all these free ones i download have actual programs and it's all weird. I don't need a fancy name or cool logo, all I need is a something simple to make compressed folders, and un-zip files on the fly. Can anyone help me??? | |

You don't have to pay. Take advantage of WinZip's 30 day free trail. After the 30 days remove the software to stay in compliance with the law. | |

| the thing is...i don't want to have to remove software every 30 days or whatever. I wanna have the free ap i had before, which i don't remember the name...damn. | |

| Probably not. Cause I'm pretty sure you have to pay for that. Tht program i had had no wizard or anything, it was just built in when I right-clicked. Do you know if Windows has any compression ap? | |

There are so many free zip programs I lost count. Just Google it. |
