OK. My computer got screwed up, so I had to get a new hard drive. Before, I was able to create copressed folders simply by right clicking on the desktop, going to 'New' and clicking 'Compressed Folder". Now that my computer has been wiped, I no longer see that option. I don't wanna pay for an application. Anyway, all these free ones i download have actual programs and it's all weird. I don't need a fancy name or cool logo, all I need is a something simple to make compressed folders, and un-zip files on the fly. Can anyone help me???

You don't have to pay. Take advantage of WinZip's 30 day free trail. After the 30 days remove the software to stay in compliance with the law.

Probably not. Cause I'm pretty sure you have to pay for that. Tht program i had had no wizard or anything, it was just built in when I right-clicked. Do you know if Windows has any compression ap?

There are so many free zip programs I lost count. Just Google it.
