Looking for feedback on CED Solutions...

| I am looking for feedback from anyone who may have taken training from CED Solutions. I am considering attending one of their boot camps but would like to hear from others on what it was like. Were they good/bad, not worth the money, etc...
Thanks | |

| Bootcamps are for paper MCSE's.
CED says you take 8 exams in 15 days. All bootcamps are the same. You get one day of lecture, half a day to study the exam questions that they give you in advance, and then take an exam. Then you do it all over again 8 times.
They charge $7,000.
For that price you could buy at least 4 computers, get an evaluation copy of 2003 Server from Microsoft (for free), get study books, get CBT nuggets for instructor led training, and pay for testing fees. And you would still save a couple thousand dollars.
If you want to be a paper MCSE and throw away thousands of dollars, take the bootcamp. Otherwise, spend the time and money for your own lab and do it the right way. |
