| me? I dunno... 2004-07-19, 2:45 pm |
| flick or swat...
the battle lines are already being drawn.
it didnt take me long to figure out the best solution, obviously 'flick-then-swat'... or in a pinch... 'grab then squish'
no doubt I'll be vilified for taking both sides of the issue, and at the same time one of my enemies will steal the 'grab then squish' option as their own.
its tough at the top... | |

| It was with much trepidation, and then much delight, that I read this post and the article. Well done, fella!
Me, I avoid the whole issue by drowning myself in deet.
Although, if you take a fabric softener dryer sheet and tuck it into the neck and sleeves of your shirt, you're probably about as well off. I found it to be effective when we were picking blackberries in mid-evening in a rural area.

I don't know about over there, but here in Georgia we have to keep our pets indoors at night if we don't want them to be carried off by the 'skeeters.

We're all tea drinking eccentrics over here, nothing is bad arse at all, our mozzies are about as dangerous as a china cup of darjeeling.
Tea drinking eccentrics? sounds like a redneck! Oh, wait, we pour ours over ice, and darjeeling isn't something a true southerner can even pronounce.

Man! our least venomous snake killed that many last month! (and still we choose to live here?) Right now our hazards aren't so much snakes, they're bull sharks and alligators. 'Course, if you don't live near water, neither of those are really hazards; but who would want to not live near water? BTW, everyone knows about Great White sharks, but actually bull sharks are more agressive than Great Whites, and they're found in just about all warmish salt water bodies in the world.

Another thing we took and proliferated in the States.
Ah yes, life is an adventure in AMerica. |
