Where I'm working now I get far more respect than I ever did in my previous jobs. I've found the more knowledgeable the staff the less gender is even acknowledged, and the people I work with now are definitely some of the brightest in the industry.

| Well, we were supposed to be in this rental house for one year, so I never completely unpacked. six years later, we're still here. It took about four years to actually get things started on building our house, my husband just couldn't decide exactly what he wanted. It's been baby steps since we got started, and I'm tired of the little things that we put up with living here instead of our on our own land. I woke up that morning and something else needed fixed. and I was gaining another year and hadn't made personal progress in any significant measure over the past year. It's felt like marking time, something I don't do very well. I've been hemmed in at work even after asking, twice, for more opportunity to be of more service. I was hating my job, my house, and not feeling really great about myself.
But I have a great husband who really tried to make the day what it should have been, and it wasn't all bad. since it was father's day as well, we spent the afternoon with his family, all of whom I love dearly, so toward teh end of the day I felt okay.

It could be worse, I am 51 and have been renting for the last 11 years because I cant decide (no fire in the belly) to buy a house and when I moved closer to work a year ago, I moved boxes that I packed 10 years ago.
| yanqui 2004-07-12, 10:22 am |
| We came close to deciding to buy, and there are a lot of houses for sale in our community, but they're all like 1800 sf, which means small rooms and small closets. Our plans call for walk in closets for all three bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath, and a FABULOUS kitchen with room to cook and can and do all that domestic stuff I never have time to do. Oh, and an inside laundry room. And a den, and a nice family room and a dining room. After having our plans for a few years, it was just impossible to gut those small rooms and closets. And we're determined to pay for our house only one time, which means no mortgage, which means no contractor.
all in all, it will be worth it, but it is so frustrating to not be able to get a move on.

now, what kind of first hand experience could you possibly based that remark on? Because for the life of me, I wouldn't be able to know what a "bunch of traveling she-males" might look like!

Manly faces....womanly bodies. I don't need any "first hand experience" to make a remark like that. If you're asking me if I've even seen a "she-male", well yes I have. Have I had "intimate relations" with one? Hell no...is that what you are infering by "first hand experience"?

Shame on you HOOLIGAN.
Sorry but my dislike for five star went much deeper. I'd rather listen to Terry Wogan sing 'Floral dance' then any Five star song.
I was listening to bands like 'the Smiths' in those days and not dodgy commercial soul music. Though I'd bet Enforcers room was covered in 'five star' posters in those days.

Hey, its no big deal forbesl, What you like to do in your spare time, and what your sexual orientation is. This is an IT forum for IT folks. Im sure it doesnt matter to any one here that you like your 'women' with something a little extra. No one will think any less of you.

Oiiiiiiii!
the only posters that graced my wall were Farah Fawcett, England and Liverpool FC.
Although when I was a kid, Liverpool were England.

Fortunately you don't need first hand experience. Another EN member has shared his knowledge and saved you the time and effort

| Oh wow, I made the mistake of reading through that thread.
I didn't understand the majority of the foreskin jokes..which I suppose proves I truly am female. Or that I'm American, because moms here prefer circumcision.
I know, I know. Too much information!
