We are currently running Windows 2000 Terminal Services. We use lowend and thin clients to connect to the Terminal Server as well as normal higher end machines.

Right now I am installing certain educational games for users to play when they are logged into the terminal server. They all work when you access the from the terminal server itself. When I log into the terminal server from a different machine(dumb terminal, reg computer, etc.) it can't play certain machines that require 16 bit colors. I have the colors set on the terminal server itself to 32 bit and colors on the higher end machines set to 24 bit.

On the RDP I have the display settings set to 16 bit. What else do I need to do to transfer the colors at 16 bit?

I use Terminal Services to connect to my domain controllers and other servers, but I've never had an issue like that.

Maybe try setting colors on the server itself from 32 to 16 bit??? Wouldn't hurt to try.

while on the the topic of TS I got a question.

I have TS running on my DC I can connect fine with my admin account but I can't with my regular account. I have it set in AD to allow the account to use TS but I get an error saying I'm not aloud to long in to the session. I can log in locally on the DC with the same account.

any ideas?

Thanks
