Windows XP user profile
| Hello,
I'm very glad to find out this site for posting a problem I have been trying to solve for weeks.
I'm planning to reinstall windows XP, and in order to maintain user profile, I relocated the user profile path from C: to D:. Apparently, that is not quite a nice way to do it, because whenever I log into the system, it displays an message stating user profile error. The error message remains even if I switch back to default path. Is there any way I can solve this problem???
Highly appreciated for your help :-)

| Where have you moved the profile back to? Is it the original location.....document and settings etc..... | |

| Maybe log onto XP with a new profile, and copy across Favourites, Desktop etc from the old profile to the new profile.. |
