A client of mine has an odd issue where they sometimes get disconnected off their dialup connection when switching identities in Outlook Express. Happens sometimes, but not all the time. I couldn't think of something that would cause this. Any ideas?

Do you have OE set to "Always dial connection..."? If so, and you are dialing in using software from your ISP or another application automatically dials the internet (perhaps IE), this might be causing your problem. I have seen this confuse OE in the past.

The connection settings on the other account may be set to disconnect after sending and receiving.

I set up users like that who travel.
