Author Should Sexy Lexy step down?

I think he should.

No flame war, sorry to disappoint.

Here we have an antagonist, criticising members for their actions against others and doing exactly the same himself.

Sorry that you had your threads/posts edited and closed in the CCNA forum to stop flaming so you decided to bring it here instead.

When you were asked for a sensible answer to my question or if you had a problem I get a "no problem" reply from you only to be scorn in another thread.

Enough time has been wasted on this already.

I fail to see the flames in this thread, Lexy:

or in this one (except for Lance's vocabulary and your shouting):

You make me wonder if you know what flaming means...

Is this poll/thread really nesscerrary?

It was already killed in the CCNA forum and now it's spilled out in the General Forum.

...end it!

Although form time to time I don't see eye to eye with Sexy Lexy, I do appreciate what he does in his forums.

I from my experience in the General Discussions forum I do sympathise with him, because there are times when it is hard to be restrained when editing posts (especially if you haven't got much time).

But I have the same opinions as to Spammers, Braindumpers and the like, whether they be fly by night posters, or long standing members, if they Spam, post braindumps or links to braindump sites, then posts will/should be edited and where necessary threads closed. If we had the ability to delete the post/thread then the problem of comments would not arise. (take note please Dimitri)

Anyway, the person with the final say has had his say, webmaster backs Sexy Lexy, so that's the end of it.

dmaftei,

I think you should throw in the towel. You have been judged and found lacking.

I have had a few run ins with Sexy Lexy, and I've lost count how many times he has followed me in the forums and called me a cheat.......hell I cheated on two out of a dozen exams, so I'm tarred with the cheat brush.........anyhow I don't think he should step down, he has been helpful to some people on here....

I see no compelling reason for Sexy Lexy to step down. He does his best to keep his forums clean and on track. If you don't like it you can always go somewhere else. It is as simple as that...

Christ, I thought I'd posted some crap on here, but this one's really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I'm sure there must be something more interesting to do in your life than by trying to boost your ego posting a sad, ill thought out poll that has so obviously back fired.

Exactly Bearing, this is what I sent to Sexy Lexy after he was good enough to PM.....I hope he doesn't mind...

No problem Sexy Lexy, I was stupid and regret what I said in the past. You are an asset as a moderator. People are bored and miss things in their life, so they come onto examnotes and attack people for no reason. Hang in there, all the best and many thanks for the recognition.

Looks like a good old fashioned tar 'n featherin' is what happened here. The question is, how long will he walk around with chicken feathers stuck to him before he comes back?

Haven't you heard? He's been held captive by the Dublin crew since early 2003.

If he were to be replaced, who wants to take his place. I for one, do not have the time. I am lucky to get to the board once a week, let alone have time to moderate.

"Volenteers" (read "volunteers") aren't needed. Lexy's not going anywhere and not about to be replaced. The thread was started by a disgruntled forum member who didn't get his way....

i dont agree with what Sexy Lexy says sometimes and i just generally flame him back and its done.

but i dont feel that it is good to get along all the time anyway.

i come here to hear several different opinions. imho, the worst post is one where there is one view and 12 "i agree's"

so who has the rights to name a mod anyway ??? the webmaster, he's been absent from any form of input in this matter.
there should be 2 mods in every forum and i see the skipster's one too.
what does he have to say?
we should get back to the technical discussion.
as i see it the ccna forum should be a big faq of commonly asked questions.
every question's been asked 1200 times !!!
if you want real technical discussion, see the cisco newsgroups or check out

He has responded, short and to the point. Look at the fourth message in this thread.

well there should be at least 2 mods per forum but not so they can vote on what to do with questionable posts. it is so no one person has the responsibility of being here everyday.
