Is it just me, or have others noticed some cracks appearing in the site?

I draw your attention to something Hippo has already mentioned about the 'Who's Online' facility being down.

Also if you look on the 'Forum's Home' page you'll notice this:

Total members - Many
Total Threads - A Couple

And lastly the 600 seconds before posting again.

Anyone else seen anything strange?

I was unable to get on last night (connection refused is what I saw), but the front page displays this for me.

I get the same thing Hippo sees too. Saw the 600 seconds message too...

Yeah, I got that. Tried to repost and the 90 seconds seemed to sort of stretch out a bit.

I decided not to display total members and thread/posts on forum home page for now.

I m going to but back who's online today and I have disabled the search feature temporarily. I am trying to use different indexing/search engine, the one that comes with vbulleting is not very effecient.

yanqui has probably come to the ineviable conclusion that her line of bs is not going to prevail, thus her zionist cyberterrorist friends have decided to do their best to trash the place, hoping to send fertile minds to other sites where they still control the political flavour of the discussion.

zionists and censorship go hand in hand, always have, always will...

You mean like all the Zionists ion the Third Reich who were so keen on censorship? You really don't know, do you?

actually, in that case it was the zionists who were quite happy to finance hitler, even after he fired up the death camps (among them americans such as the rockefellers), who were complicit in the censorship hitler was quite happy to impose.

zionists in particular, and zionism in general profited highly from world warll, after all, it enabled global sympathy necessary to create israel.

it is most certainly zionists who have been attacking this site.

it is interesting to note that americans have adopted the 'poor me' excuse... for instance, they are wiping out falluja 'in self defense'. actually, it is the iraqis in falluja who are acting in self defense. those americans killed were not 'civilians', but armed mercenaries.

now the vastly superior military force is attempting to portray themselves as the victim in an ongoing war crime that they are committing.

One question... where is the money from those 2 million barrels of iraqi oil that are being removed every day going?

Dude, you are so confused you can't even think straight. The oringins of Zionism were originally a response to widespread anti-Semitism, and not all of them were bad. they just wanted a place where they could be left alone. The choice of Palestine as their "homeland" was a stupid one, of course, but they have as much right as any one else to live. And I very seriously doubt that Zionists (a subset of the Jews) were so keen on getting Palestine that they helped Hitler to kill 6000000 of their own people. Now, were there some people who identified with Zionism who helped Hitler? Certainly. There were also Jews who worked for the mob in America. That in itself isnt significant, sicne there will always be peoplw willing to sell out their own for a few bucks. The point is that anyone who is in power and wants to get the support of their public will use censorship if it suits their purposes . . . Zionists and non-Zionists alike.

You know, people like you would get a lot more sympathy (and people would take you mroe seriously) if you were bit more moderate in your critiques rather than making a general statment about a whole group of people when it probably only applies to a small subset. That's called racism here.

Beats the ****!!* out of me! (believe it or not, I don't even have a word that goes in there--it's just what I type when my brain makes that bleeping noise.)

I tried to be nice to him... I really did. And I'm NOT the one to accuse of censorship. HOWEVER--when we signed on to this group, we did agree to abide by the rules of it, so if someone's post goes missing, the rules are the first place to look. It's called informed consent. And it's not the same as when the government decides that some expression is acceptable and some isn't simply on the basis of how supportive of current political climate it is or is not. When I'm participating in a forum on cooking I don't launch into a thread on computer hardware. Doesn't make sense, and I don't berate others for using basil simply becuase I don't like it, and when I DO express my dislike for basil, I do so with a civil tone and encourage all who like basil to go on liking basil and using it with all the gusto they can produce.

Part of being a grown up is being able to agree to disagree.

Dude...

for the umpteenth time, and in response to the umpteenth ignoraramus... semitic refers to a group of tribes (ethnicity) including, among many others, arabs and jews.

cultural genocide is the attempted exclusion of all other tribes who have legitimate claim to the term semitic.

the cause of the ever festering boil in the middle east, one that never ceases to create and spread death around the world, one that continues to cause the daily death of palestinians, americans and iraqi's, is zionism racism. the presumption of being gods chosen people to the extent that anything they do or anyone they kill is gods chosen will...

there is no difference between zionist extremists' and muslim extremists', except of course that the zionists have control of the american military and are using that as a mechanism for doing their dirty work.

the arabs see it this way, an ever increasing majority of the people of the world see it this way, and frankly, thats the way it is.

you say thats irrelevant

and the wars continue...

The term "Anti-Semitic" has traditionally referred to anti-Jewish attitudes, not racism against all of Semtic origin. If you can't understand that, then I'm sorry, you are just stupid. Your point of view is like a scientist who complains that it is incorrect to say that the "sun rises" when in fact it is the earth that revolved. If a pharase has come to mean a certain thing, then it should not be taken literally, but taken to mean what the majority of people say it means. And it is in no way cultural genocide to say that. That is simply how language works. It evolves by common usage, not logic. By the same logic, I could claim that all speakers of Enlgish are inherently sexist since there are no common gender neutral pronouns.

There is little difference between Zionist extremists and Arab extremists, true, but the orignins of Zionism had their origins in anti-Jewish racism. Now whether you like it or not, Israel exists, and will continue to exist. If you don't like that, then tough titty. Raving about it like a two year old wont change that. I doubt if it is the Zionists that have as much control over the American military as some silly religious people who still have supersitions that the Jews are god's chosen people and are afraid of waking up on the wrong side of hevaen of they go against them.

Thank You, Mr. Cronkite. Now please, go back into retirement, fold up your nazi flag (or your PLO flag, whatever), and stay the hell out of issues you apparently know nothing about except what you've heard from Arab TV. All you're doing is spouting off the same bullcrap that we've all heard many, many times before.

Try coming up with a NEW conspiracy theory, maybe people will listen (well, for a while anyway, until the smart ones realize that you're just full of sh**).

Well, I'm sorry, but if someone refuses to accept common definitons of words, then they can't be all that bright. Either that or they are being intentionally obtuse in order to foster argument.

Am I a victim of cultural genocide since I am not a "Native American"? According to I dunno, I must be since the only people in America who think they can claim that title are The American Indians, anot natives born Americans like me. Right?

I have yet to see you offer any coherent argument either. The second someone makes a point you move on to another toipic without addressing the reply (kind of like george bush, huh?).

Zionism probably is one of the major components of why lots of people hate the jews. Racism is also a big component, as is scapegoating. And I seriosuly dobut if back in the late 1800's the Jews began thinking of Zionism as a way of uniting themselves, they were thinking of how this would affect others 50-100 years later. I recall the Arabs having a philosophy called Pan-Arabism that is pretty similar to Zionism in its aims . . . the main problem being they are too imcompetent and argumentative to implement it. The Jews manage to get along with themselves, which is the primary reason they are winning out over the Arabs, who are always at each others necks and then blaming others for their predicaments.

Even though I cannot recall any personal attacks against you, I did apologize in a personal message to you, which you have received and read. If you cannot recall the message, I will post it here for you and everyone else to read.

The members here are familiar enough with the timbre and character of my posts to dismiss your accusation, but to continue to accuse even after the apology is the act of a spoiled child. I've taught my children better than that. Evidently your mother didn't.
