Outlook express problem...

| I am using XP pro, and outlook express refuses to open. I click on it off of the start menu, and the hourglass appears for a second then nothing happens. I tried going back to a distant restore point, but that didn't help. Rebooting did not fix the problem either. Any ideas on what to do next? Your help is appreciated. Thanks. | |

| I had the same problem with Outlook. I had to reinstall the program to get it to work right. | |

| Outrage Express strikes again. It seems lately this problem is popping up for a few with generally the same fix. | |

| To reinstall it, did you just go into add/remove programs, then add/remove components and uncheck the outlook express box? | |

| Yes. OR If you have been using windows update then you have an updated version. You will find it in add/remove programs/ The button that says change/uninstall and will only return you to your original configuration. If you have a bad update it may start working and then you can return to windows update and repatch it. |
