What is Cisco's certification pass/fail rate trend ????

| I am wondering if anyone knows where i can get information on Cisco's pass/fail rate for their main cert's for the past 5 years. Mainly CCNA and CCNP. I don't know about you guy's but I definetly feel the test's are getting much trickier just so they can outsmart the Testkings of the world. The test's are no longer just testing your knowledge, they are specifiaclly constructed to fool those that may just study a braindump. It is my felling that even with the braindumps, the fail rate has increased over the past year and I am trying to find some hard facts on this. It is almost to the point where even if you have studied very hard, you know the material, you can do the simulations with your eye's closed but, you still need to take a look at brain dumps so you are wise to the trick questions. Any help on where I can find this info is appreciated. Thanks | |

| Cisco will tell you that they do not release that information. Yes they are trying to stop the brain dumpers with test changes, so is Microsoft and CompTIA. All are adding more simulations and trying to relate the questions to hands on work. If all you have is book knowledge then they will seem harder.
Now consider that if they have the same brain dumps and are targeting them, then just possibly some of the ringer questions are made to appear harder if your knowledge has been tainted by a dump. All that is needed is to play grammar games and turn a question inside out. People that studied the dump will get it wrong and people that studied the material will get it right. |
