| What does dimensions 1U, 2U 3U etc stands for?

| 1U, 2U, 3U refers to dimensions for rack-mount equipment. It denotes the vertical height of gear. A standard rack is 19" wide.
1U = 1.75 in.
2U = 3.50 in.
3U = 5.25 in. |
