i want to install a tv tuner card to a 800 mhz computer
it has 180mb ram, 40 gb hard drive, and the video is built in( no agp slot so if i upgrade the video, it would have to be with a pci card)and win xp

any sugestion on which card to use?all i want is to watch some tv and record some shows,
i have been looking at the avermedia cards

I recently purchased an ATI all in WONDER VE and am fairly happy with it. I needed to upgrade the graphics card in a 350Mhz PII, and wanted TV in functionality. I paid $117 for a PCI version, it was supposed to come with a certificate for a free remote ($50 value) but came instead with one for video editing software. The card has 64M of ram and a midrange ATI GPU. I am using it with an antenna in tough reception area (next to Logan International airport!) and reception is tolerable. With cable I am sure it would perform great (as it does with DVD's). It comes with a lot of bells and whistles software. Look it up online and get all the specs.
