hi...
i have a strange question
i have a long crossover cable, and i want to use it as straight through and i don't want to cut it. i have 2 female connectors. what if i made a very short crossover cable using those female connectors so i can connect the long crossover cable to one of the female connectors and in the other end connect a straight through cable to the other female connector?? is that possible????

just go buy a patch cable. it costs 3 bucks.
