| Not totally sure what you are getting at but USB 2 devices will work in older USB ports just at a slower speed!!!! | |

| yes it is. in fact in the BIOS settings there is a choice of setting USB 2 ports to full speed (12Mbs)
or high speed (480Mbs)
so if you are having issues with some mice, keyboards or other older USB devices changing the BIOS setting should remedy the problems. |
