At my place of work they moved all newtwork files to another location - they did this past 2 days.
Now my dilema is the original master access database file (MDE file) will not open.
It gives me an error saying the path is invalid or you typed it wrong.

So what would make this happen?

Was IT suppose to make replicas of this file before moving it?

any ideas, will check first thing in the morning, thanks

Also, your DNS resolver cache on your machine may still be pointing to the old IP address.

Go to the command line and type:
ipconfig /flushdns

This will purge your DNS cache and make the computer contact DNS for the new IP address.
