Word 2000 PNG graphics problem as listed here has been solved.

What I needed to do was upload all my pictures via Word's clipart gallery then either copy or insert the pictures that I wanted.
The file format stays the same as what I had chosen and the folder properties are much smaller than what I had before.
In other words, if I place a snap for a word edited web page externally, Word automatically converts it to something like a PNG format.
Import it via its own clipart gallery and the file size supported by it is only marginally and unnoticeably slightly bigger.

Grease to my elbows I guess.

It's a hard life unless you experiment I guess.
