| I had one and it broke after a year. I think it was because of overheating although I had set the energy-saving Power Options. The fan was always seem on full power.
Then I have heard people complained a lot about their dell laptops that they do not last long. | |

Well, I have used and supported them at my previous work and my current one. And I must say they have on the whole been pretty good and reliable. The one I use now has been dropped from a windowsill onto a concrete floor and, although there is a small crack, the whole thing works fine. |
