Author Server health checks, idea's please?

Hello people!

I'm currently putting together a check list for a bunch of engineers including myself to carry out for server health checks.

So far I've done the obvious stuff like...

  • Disk Space
  • Event Logs
  • Performance (page file, processor and memory)
  • Location of FSMO roles if domain controller

What else do you think I should include? I don't want this to be pages and pages long, but I don't want to miss anything either. Basically, this is going to be used when visiting customers sites for the first time, and the idea of the check list is to make sure all is well before taking responsibilty for maintaining the servers. When it's finished I'm quite happy to share it on here in case it's of any use!

Any help will be very much apreciated!
