Currently trying to add a Belkin wired router to my LAN SERVER 2003.

The server is configed and has a static ip: 192.168.100.1 which is also DNS enabled.

I've tried to ping/access routers web feature setup but unable to.

Disabled DHCP on the server but still unable to access or ping router.

The server is connected to the lan port of the router since I am not running DSL/wan at this time.

Also resetted the router.

Any help would be appreciated.

what are the IP configs of both the router and the server?

Sounds like the server and router may be configured on different networks. Since you reset the router, what is the default ip address? Is it on the same subnet as the server? If not they will not communicate with each other.

Most home routers default to 192.168.0.1 with 255.255.255.0 subnet mask.

Your server is on the 192.168.100.0 network. Change the server's IP address to 192.168.0.X and you should be able to reach your router.

Hope that helps.
