Hi
i have Intel/DEC 21440A network adapter and i want to install XP from network , and i want to boot from network client to do that.i did found the network client ( the pxe rom) but dunno how to make it so to put on the diskette and boot from the network.
rawrite doesnt work

any ideas?

Sounds like you found the binary for a boot PROM. You need a prom burner and a blank chip. The chip plugs into your NIC and patches itself into the system BIOS during post. Most people just buy the chip or now-a-days get a motherboard with the NIC imbedded so that network boot is part of the motherboard BIOS already.

Unless one of us misunderstands the problem you can not get where you want to go from where you are at.

uhh then thats wrong.
i need the network client software that you put on a floppy that allows you to boot from network.

where can i find that for an Intel/DEC 21440A network adapter
