mobile phone connection

| Hi,
has anyone heard of a piece of kit that is basically a shelf that bolts into a rack, then you connect some lines (trunks) from your PABX and install up to 10 cards with mobile phone sims installed?
The idea is that making a call from a fixed line to a mobile is expensive where a call from one mobile to another is about half the price.
Using this kit your PABX extensions get to call out as if they were just another mobile and it drastically reduces your phone bills.
Any idea of the name of kit or suggestions of a likely supply company?
Regards

| Hi,
no, sorry, we already have that but we call it DECT.
This is for calling mobile phones as supplied by Vodaphone, Orange, O2, etc, to people other than your employees.

You might try posting here too. You'll need to become a member first though.

| Take a look here to see if this is what you seek.
What kind of PBX switch are you using?

| Hi,
thanks for the web-site, it looks good and I'll be registering later hwen I get a chance to read a bit more on it.
The 'mobile as a PBX extension when the user is on site' is something we looked at a couple of years ago but the boss wasn't interested then. It may be a good time to bring it back in front of him as he's looking at phone-bills now.
It's not what I'm actually looking for though.

| Hi Peter,
Is this the type of system you're after?

That does look like an interesting system.
I'll have to look for something similar over here. The company I work for could use something like it. |
