| My friend's Shift key dont work; it does not Impact/affect anything except capitalizing.. Can anyone help?
I instructed her to reinstalled the drivers to no avail.
The shift key is acting like the control key. Other than that its not working. The properties were adjusted and drivers were reinstalled; all to no use. She has a logitec standard 101 ps2 and using Windos 2000 OS. | |

| Go to Control Panel -> Regional Options -> Input Locales and check if the keyboard layout is what you think it is. | |

| Thanks dmaftei. I tried that already but it did not help. Redstar, I hope to get a keyboard replacement for her this weekend. She is in NY and I am in NJ.
Thanks ALL. | |

| Why don't you swap your own keyboard with the problem one temporarily? I bet it's a piece of partially chewed bread causing the problem. |
