Anybody know where where I can find an Aptiva OEM modem driver? I've searched U.S. Robotics and Systemmax.

RusS Has the best suggestion.

Otherwise I found this link
http://www.computing.net/drivers/ww...forum/1570.html

You didn't mention what OS nor the chipset you have - so, if my link is of no help - you really should try RusS link to driverguide or go to windrivers or try a google search.

Oh man! I wish I would have seen this post sooner! I used to work for this POS company. For almost 4 years actually, they were called MicroProfessionals until the company that owned that name sued it away from them. Then they went to Cavistar and Proteva. If I remember correctly Proteva was the name that they put on the computers they sold to stores and the Home Shopping Network.

I would have to really try to remeber since they went through so many crappy modems (and some nice ones once in a while). You may have a Diamond Modem or a GVC modem. I remember these as being some of the more popular ones that they put in any system that you would still want to turn on. It's a shame that I don't still have the backup drive for the website, since I created and maintained it (for a year or so). I had an image of the site on a spare drive but I'm sure I've thrown it away over the years. I do however think you would be better off tossing it and buying another, since internals go for about 15 bucks these days, would be alot easier then finding the drivers for that thing.
