don't know if this is the right forum or not, so would someone please move it to a forum where I can get a little help?

TCP/IP class this fall, and for some reason we just jumped to the middle of the book.

I can convert decimal-->binary and reverse, but I have no idea what this page is telling me to do.

The teacher has given us this for homework, and I can do everything except figure out how to tell what the default subnet mask will be. I also don't know how to tell what class IP address it is... Everytime I think I have it, I see something that makes me think I should have gone for a degree in basket weaving...
