How do you attain security clearences?


Any one have any information about this? How much they cost? how long does it take for them to check your background etc.

You can get a security clearance if you are in a position that works for the government or have a job that works for a contractor who works on a government project.

It can take up to a year to receive a clearance, depending on how poor a record you have.

You can NOT get a clearence yourself, trust me I've tried. (Damnn TS w/ LS Poly) You have to have a company sponsor you, and that company has to have a need for someone with clearence.

If I'm wrong, someone please tell me so I can get that clearence myself. ^_^
