| Knowing their techniques and in real life...who would win? | |

| I'd say Jet Li and I'm pretty positive about that. Effective wushu is all about physical strength coupled with spiritual coordination. You gotta be strong both physically and spritually. Arnold is more of an actor than a martial artist. Van Dam is cool but then he's no where close to Jet Li and Jackie Chan. On the other hand, Bruce Lee was first to introduce our modern day "kung-fu" in the western world. But then, he's not the 'generic' version . This leaves you with Chan and Li. Jet Li is perhaps the only living human who transcends himself in the traditional art of "wushu", not "kung-fu". Don't confuse these two terms ok
~end rant. BTW, what's all this for

| Bruce Lee of course and it wouldn't be close. Van Damme is a wuss and Arnold is just muscular, doesn't know or do any martial art. | |

| I have trained in JKD (Jeet Kune Do) for over eight years now along with along with a few years of ground fighting (Gracie Jiu-Jitsu ) and four years of Ed Parker's Kenpo. If Bruce was alive I would say he would win. But out of the others I would have to say Steven Segal. He is not all show. He was voted instructer of te year in black belt magazine 3 diffrent years he still teachs to this day. | |

| Bruce Lee by far! There is no question.
If you read The Tao of Jeet Kune Do you will appriciate my answer.
I find Krav Maga to demonstrate many of Bruce's philosophies, direct, efficient and realistic.

| I think it would be down to Bruce Lee or Jet Li. After watching a special on the discovery channel that featured current masters of martial arts, I would have to say that Jet Li would be the only one who could match Bruce Lee in style, focus and speed.
Hey rnrkenzie, what do think about the Gracie system?

| The best Gracie could beat any of these guys. If they got you on the ground, it's so over. | |

There is a BIG IF in that statement, with Bruce Lee and Jet Li concerned, I would wonder if you could actually get them to the ground. I know what it's like to shoot in on some one for a clinch or take down and these two could make that a painful and dangerous adventure. I do agree that if the fight hit the floor and stayed there, it would be lights out.

Hey rnrkenzie, what do think about the Gracie system?
I loved training with them. I think they have a great fighting system. I looked everywhere! I also spent six months training at the lions den with Kin Shamrock & his brother, I got some great training there also.
I think one of the reasons that they did so well in the UFC in the is only because it was a whole new way of fighting. They would not do so well today.
As far as the Gracie's taking on Bruce. I would love to have been able to see it, it would have been a good fight. Bruce was very good on the ground. Even he said all real fights go to the ground. He spent a lot of time training in ground fighting.
A fight I think that would have been awsome to see would have been Ed Parker and Bruce. Most people don't know it was Ed Parker who got Bruce in the movies in the first place, they were great friends. the fight that Bruce said he would beat anyone in 60 sec. or less was at the Ed Parker's championship.

In real life he was very aware of the fact that most combat ends up in grappling.
If all you have seen is his movies or some posters then you have no idea what you are talking about.
In case you formed your opinion from Dragon the Bruce Lee story, it was not very
accurate. | |

| Indy Jones would win. Remember how he handled that karate guy in Raiders of the Lost Ark? |
