| I can't believe they will give you 4 credits for the iNet+ Certification. It was the easiest Comptia Certification test that I have taken. | |

| Me, 2.. 4 credits! Too much
I think some of the MS exam shall be earn more than 1 credit.
BE VERY CAREFUL, is this college OK?

| Actually - probably. CompTIA has been advertising the fact that the college in question gives credit for their certs for at least a year and a half now. If the college wasn't any good, I doubt would be something that CompTIA would brag about. Because of their promotion based around it - I would say the school has to be reputable. | |

| It is a fully accredited school with I believe the middle states association. There are five regional associations that accredit schools colleges and universities in the U.S. Here in California it is the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, WASC. There is also the north western association, mid west association, southern association and the new england association.
Accreditation from any of those associations generally means the credits are transferable and degrees accepted by graduate schools.

| Yep, I like it, just means I will have to sit alot of tests, cheaper than sitting in on classes for 16 weeks. | |

| i think i remember getting a course pack from them, and decided that even though they give credit for certifications, that, say, the open university in the uk would be cheaper.
i've been toying with the idea of doing a degree to help improve my employment chances

| The school in question has been around for quite a while, is real and is in Albany if I remember correctly. It was called Regents college prior to changing their name to Excelsior. The US military has been encouraging people in it to go there, since they give credit for DANTES and since they offer a discount to veterans.
The trick, or so it appears is to get your certs and as much of your school work as possible done prior to admittance and subsequent graduation. If you do that, you should save some cash.
Cheers,
