Would a A+ certification be more than enough to get a job fixing computers at a local store?
If not, what else would you need?

For some computer stores - yes. I know there are several that hire A+ certified technicians.

For others they may want you to have Network+ along with it - I'm not sure.

While an A+ is no guarantee of a job, I would consider it a definite prerequisite.

Having a A+ cert may get you in the door, but you have a lot better chance if you also have CRT cert.
