EN seems to have folks all over the world on it so I was wondering what type of music is listened to.

I prefer Classic Rock myself, but what about the rest of you?

At Ohio State Stadium..It was estimated that 52,000 people showed up...only cruddy thing was that it was a dry concert, but we were allowed to tailgate...

I graduated from there in 1995...man things have changed

When I'm not listening to sports talk I listen to Classic rock or alternative rock.

Come on baby light my fire!!

New alternative stuff, like Beck and Talking Heads (not new any more, are they?), a couple of new bands called PseudoPod and Guster, Natalie Merchant, Indigo Girls, the Refreshments, Mighty Bosstones, and some stuff that's a little harder but not the Metallica extreme.

Anyone ever heard of the Butthole Surfers? Did a cool song called "pepper" several years ago then dropped off the scene. The rest of the disc was crap.

Everything and anything - except Cliff Richard and Neil Sedaka.

I am rather partial to classical music though - I'm building up a collection of classical music CDs.

Me too--I have all the standards, but I'm partial to the Eastern Europeans and a couple of British composers--Williams and Tallis, specifically.

I listened to Vaughn Williams on the way to work this Monday. Nice interpretation of Greensleeves. Peaceful music.

i have had this tape in the car that i have played non-stop for almost two years. it's got never mind the bollocks by the pistols on one side and a strokes gig that was broadcast on the radio on the other. the other in-car tape i had that i listen to for several years had pixies' doolittle and various b-sides on one side and a stooges "best of" on the other (it was actually half of "the stooges" and half of "funhouse").

other bands i have been heavily into over the years have been neil young, sonic youth, blondie, smashing pumpkins, rev horton heat, elvis, chuck berry. i've even got a couple of dean martin disks.
