Author Need idea for a contest

Here is the deal:

I have a couple of brand new Cisco routers 2521

I am thinking of giving one away and I need an idea for a good contest where someone can win in.

Maybe "the most helpful member in Cisco forum" or maybe just accept registrations and then just pick a winner randomly.

I welcome all intelligent ideas.

Serious ideas only please.

Question? How would the software that is used by the router be licensed? I have heard that Cisco doesn't allow the software license to go with the router if sold or otherwise.

How about Best Submission for

Exam notes graphic design?
Exam Notes motto?

Some kind of contest where you will also benefit for the website

let's cross that bridge when we get to it. (ooops sorry router)

another question, is this 'Only available in the US'?

I go with PoorboyTech on this one, the competetion should have an end product for the benefit of the forum.

Since it's a new router, it should be okay.

How about best Examnotes wallpaper?

Maybe to be registered to win, the person has to provide 10 questions in some certification level that are unique. More trivia never hurt anyone!

As we're running nominations for member awards at the moment, how about when we do the 'EN Member of the Year' award the winner takes all?
enforcer

2003-07-23, 10:40 am

Member of the year will be one from those that win the other awards, also done as a poll

Just because you're leading one of them?

Plus the person I think is the EN member of the year may not win one of them.

what if everyone writes an essay about how examnotes is different then other certification websites, and how it has helped the individual achive their goals.

the top ten can be voted on by other en members, and the one receiving the most votes wins.

Motto is good idea and Most helpful member is good, too.

However, No Moderator

I'm listening. Just want to let you all know that I don't need new design, it's also not fair to those who have no clue how to design a site.

An essay is good, most helpful member is good.

I think some content should be contributed to the site, especially on Cisco topics. Maybe some articles on some Cisco related stuff like SAFE or something like that.

How about this.....

Each person gets one submission to show how wild and wacky they can promote examnotes.net, whether it be spray painting it on their neighbors garage or having your girlfriend wear a bikini with examnotes.net on it.... and then submit the picture...

Am I likely to see you on Sky streaking across the Elland Rd pitch with "Examnotes" spray painted on yer arse?

I think she's more exiting things to do than got to Elland Road anyway. Things like watching paint dry or counting the blades of grass on her back lawn.

Paisleyskye this is the Sky Misty was reffering to.

we could organise an armwrestling pyramid of all members, with the winner getting the cisco gear.

or you could run a competition for the most complex subnetting puzzle. it only seems fair that somebody wioth cisco experience stands a better chance at winning the stuff as i would be more likely to stick it on ebay if it got my hands on it.
