| You have people here trashing braindumps etc
BUT the popups and advertising are for cheat sites and braindumps !! eg. actualtests - is that not a braindump, quick easy route to a piece of paper that means nothing without experience ?
Make up your mind...

| I posted a way to get free braindumps off the net and it was promptly deleted by Mods.
So why, i ask?
Because that is competition ?
I have gotten the hell flamed out of me for even mentioning braindumps here and no one stopped those threads.
I believe one site in particular now advertising here - testking - was busted once or is currently in litigation for stealing word-for-word exam questions. | |

| The majority of the members here are against braindumps (especially the MODS) and any links etc will be removed, however we are not Admins and cannot affect the advertising done by webmaster | |

| webmaster has to pay the bills. Are you going to send him some money to provide the up-keep for this forum? First lesson you should probably learn if you want to work with computers is what that little x does in the upper right hand corner. When you post a link for a dump, webmaster doesn't get any money. So it gets deleted. When he puts up a link for a dump, he is most likely getting money to pay the light bill. Does that make him a hypocrite? No, that makes him resourceful. If it weren't for the $'s, you wouldn't have a place to air your gripes. | |

| As I said before in the 70-210 and 2000 General forums that I moderate, I can not, nor wish to control what/who the Webmaster chooses as sponsors to generate revenue for his website. However, the moderators can filter the postings in their respective forums to material that they/we feel is in violation of the NDA, (which is what a bdump is plain and simple). I tolerate the questionable sponsers on this site because I enjoy helping people on this forum, and that is the most important thing to me. Because the exams are not cheap, Bdumps, and bdump type materials like test-king, etc.. are an unfortunate part of the certification game, but that doesn't mean the moderators have to allow it in the forums they moderate.
Personally, I wish people wouldn't use them, but if people want to go that route, that's their choice, just don't post about bdump material you used or direct people to various ways to get bdumps off the net in the forums or they will get edited/deleted and locked. I believe you will find that mindset prevalent with all the mods.
If that doesn't sit well, you can always exercise your right to freely leave the site as you have paid no money or signed any "contract" to participate in the forums.

I am perfectly aware of what I can and cannot do regarding exiting this 'arena'.
If you are going to harp on about some pompous viewpoint referring to the correct way to obtain certification..well my friend.. the world aint interested.
THE POINT...either accept braindumps and dont ban them OR sever all ties to braindump or quasi braindump - esque sites that your site perpetually launches at us in the form of popups and spam mail.
Its simple Spid...

| I 100% agree with Spid. If everyone used braindumps in the world, we'd still be in Windows 3.1. I personally feel sorry for those who need to cheat to pass an exam.
And yes, there are several, SEVERAL! of us on this sight that support the conventional method of learning. I abhore Braindumps, and If I was a moderator, would block every single one that comes onto the sight if I could. Whats the point of having a forum to discuss learning and ideas unless the forum was just to verify the correct answers of the braindumps you just downloaded?
And the comment about we wouldn't have a place to air our gripes? I can list several free sites that do not promote braindumps and do not cost a penny...hell, I myself am trying to create one as a non profit learning center...If you do not like how the moderators of this place run the forums, you are more than welcome to leave....they were chosen by Webmaster for a reason..... | |

IMHO, all that bdumps do is cheapen the certification process. Sure, anyone can cheat! But the real challenge is really learning what makes it work, the why and how. If you just memorize answers from some bdump, then you've really learned nothing. Sure, you may get the certification, but if and when you land a job, and it's crunch time because your server has crashed..... then what are you going to do? Run to the bdump site to see if they can fix your problem????
Like I said, just my .02 cents. Just know that anyone posting bdump info in the 210 forum, you have 2 mods that are anti-bdump. (Just an FYI) | |

I don't recall defending anybodies "rights" or the "fairness" of any entity. My comment was that it is Webmaster's website. Have you ever heard the expression "house rules?

So when are you going to sever all ties to quasi braindumps? I got an email from examnotes.net yesterday saying that I could pass every cert in two days. So are you going to read this post and then leave this forum forever?

Nice attempt to drag me into another silly flame war for attention that you trolls thrive on.
Anyhow, I know that I shouldn't directly answer, as it only feeds your sad existance, but I believe I stated that "Personally, I wish people wouldn't use them, but if people want to go that route, that's their choice". How is that a pompous viewpoint?
Basically, do whatever you want outside of these forums, I could give a rat's arse. Bdump your way through all the certification tracks, bloody good for you mate. Post about bdumps in the Win2k general or 70-210 forums, your post will get edited/deleted. You don't like that, I know, it just pisses you off to no end, and that makes me happy. And before you start crying about "nazi mods" and oppresive censoring tactics, I'm only referring to bdump postings, so don't take it out of context, twist it (like you love to do), and create some elaborite drivel.
Also, I believe I did state that bdumps are an unfortunate part of the certification game, accepting that they exist and are used. So because of this we should embrase them for the wonderful resource that they are...sure, whatever you say.
Finally, this isn't my webiste site Einstein, I believe I stated that as well with "Webmaster" and "his" website.
You know what, I'll make you a deal, PM the Webmaster, If he asks me to step down because he doesn't agree with how I moderate with respect to bdump postings, I'll gladly do it.
This is the only reply you'll get from me, so if this bdump censoring stuff upsets you so much that you need to throw a "hissy fit", go take a nice warm bath and please forget about me. But I know that you, being the half wit that you are, will still whine, complain, and attempt another pathetic flame at me ... Go Figure.
