Bearing makes a trip to london to see the sights. He wants to take afternoon tea at the Savoy Hotel. Which tube station should he get off at to have the shortest walk.

A. Piccadily Circus

B. Covent Garden

C. Charing Cross

D. Savoy Gardens

E. St James Square

29 kms to the airport (london heathrow)
48 kms to the airport (london gatwick)
5 minute walk to the nearest metro station (charing cross/embankment)
1 km to the nearest station (charing cross)
3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop
5 km to the nearest fair site (earls court)


It would be C. Charing Cross

You're all wrong, I went by Helicopter...


But if I had gone by tube, I think I would have got of at Embankment, but as you didn't give me that choice, I used Charing X Station.

Evertjo, the Landy is in pieces at the moment, I'm carrying out a chassis up rebuild..

charing cross and embankment are two different stations.

i probably would have gotten off at leicester square and walked down charing cross road. depending on baggage of course.

i was trying to establish which tubes where on the charing cross road and used the fact that the marquee club used to be there as my guide. turns out they are opening it up again in friggin islington. very punk rock.

And the answer is of course C. Charing Cross.

There is no tube station called Savoy Gardens and all the others are further away.

I'd still get off at Embankment, even if you didn't include it. After all it was my day out!!!
