Does anyone have any other information on the RCNP by River Stone Networking besides what's on there site? I can't find anything and my Boss wants me to get that cert. I can't even find a book on it!

I appreciate your time, but I'd found those links. Thanks for looking, and as popular as river stone is I would've thought there would be a lot of material out there, but it doesn't look like there is.

No problem man. Hey, how hard was the CCNA exam. I was jsut wondering because after I upgrade to CNA 5.1 then 6, I wanted to go for the CCNA. Good luck on your RiverStone stuff.

Realise that all the world of networking is not Cisco? They are a competitor in many areas. Here is a nice overview picture.

I didn't think the CCNA was that hard but I have alot of experience with cisco router. The main parts of the exam are, subnetting (know it), wan switching, and networking basics. There is a few lab questions, know how to configure passwords, rip, Igrp and e0 s0 and clocking. What can I do with a Riverstone Cert. Well if I get the cert then I will have had training on a riverstone and that is what I want. A lot of large comapnies and ISP's use riverstone because of price and scalabilty. Riverstone actually makes larger router. Which are used for fiber, ds3 and high bandwidth capability, if you have DSL or cable then your probable going thru riverstone.

I've never heard of them until now. I'll have to look them up.
