Does anyone know of any certifications that deal with repairing medical electronics?

There is an infinite number of community college programs and BS degrees in Biomed. A search on google will produce scores of schools with 2 year programs.

Thank you. I actually found the BMTC certification after doing some searches. This actually for friend of mine who was in the semi conductor field who was layed off and is now looking to get into the medical field as a field service engineer.

It appears that the only way he will be able to do that is if he goes and earns a degree in BMT. I was hoping maybe it was like IT where a person can get certifications with out formal schooling.
