I've got a PPTP VPN between my home LAN w/VPN server behind a firewall and a remote host running Win 98. The remote can authenticate the tunnel but can't browse the LAN.
I've created a USER account on the LAN with Dial-in permissions. Do I also need to create a COMPUTER account on the LAN as well?

I also have another remote host trynig to connect to the VPN. This is a member of my DOMAIN. They are behind their own router/firewall. I am assigning a STATIC pool of addresses to this remote. They connect fine but just cant browse. I've enablebed NetBIOS over TCP and still can't. This remote cannot ping the VPN server at all after authenticating.

Help...............

Actually I tried using a Radius server/IAS (same computer as my DC and VPN server) on the LAN and I tried Windows Authentication/Authorization. The results are the same for me.. I can Authenticate the tunnel but cant browse. The remote user (who has a domain account) gets error message "no logon servers available to service this request". The remote use who is NOT behind a firewall gets error message "Unable to browse network"
The user behind their own router/firewall cannot ping the VPV server. The remote use who is NOT behond a firewall can ping the VPN server but cant browse..
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
