We have these bloody stupid NT4 servers here at the office... I dunno why the hell people liked them so much... its like using windows 95 again with all the stupid errors you get!! I can't wait till we get these win2k servers up and running... grrrr | |

| nt4 was the best m$ had to offer at the time. just coz you have something more up-to-date at home doesn't mean your boss can afford something more modern for you. | |

| you just have to know how to treat them, they work fine when their up and running properly. Nt4 server is everywhere. Our clients are only starting to switch over to win2k but most dont see why when Nt4 suits their needs | |

| I see NT, WIN 98 and 95 a lot in the field. Many clients have not, nor plan to upgrade. It is out there more than people like to imaging.
To me, it was hard breaking away from the Win 2000 mentality. At first, I Grrrred anything but W2K (including XP) but now realize that the world is not going to conform to my desires. So I have learned to live with it. I actually do not hate NT all that much though it is more difficult to work with.
One thing I do try to do is upgrade Win 95 clients to at least Win 98. It usually takes very little convincing. |
