| Those of us here at EN who continuously denounce dumps appear to be wrong. How do I know this? Because when I visit this wonderful place, I am now greeted by a large window reminding me that braindumps is the best way to success in the field of IT. Maybe it is time to surrender and begin a fervent advocacy on behalf of the BD approach to eternal bliss. You can't fight City Hall. | |

| The irony is so profound that it disintegrates the cerebral cortex capacity to produce verbiage. Here we are a community dedicated to preserving and perpetuating the integrity of our profession, and we are entirely sponsored by the enemy we seek to destroy. Does the term Saudi Arabia come to mind? | |

Come on Tech Ranger you know that you can't keep a good braindumper down. Good old Troytec who was taken out by Microsoft and CompTia has pulled the Lazarus trick and risen again. troytec' web site is back on the air, same URL, hosted from a secret place they say. CEO Gary Nolastname is so smug about it that he is even posting his picture Peter Norton style. They must have cloned the cockroach survival gene.

| Agreed, but you might want to watch your step, Mr Ranger.
Remember what happened to our old friend Pavlov.

| Tech Ranger 2003-05-18, 3:43 pm |
| Pavlov bucked the system. I am advocating unilateral surrender. Why don't we all sign a pact agreeing never to study or practice ever again. Let us devote our futures to ignorance, pretense, and the undermining of the professional credentials of all those who fooloishly pursue knowledge, professional excellence, and certification through fairly taking and passing exams. These Sugar Daddies are paying our rent. Let's disrobe and give them what they want. | |

All this latest 'braindump supports examnotes thread' needs now is our dear old webmaster to bemoan the cost of running this site, and offer to start charging a small fee if we dont like it. And how the Actual exam questions are not actual exam questions, blah blah blah. and lock the thread.
We have been here too many times.
I hope you didn't fancy moderating at EN Tech.
| Tech Ranger 2003-05-18, 5:47 pm |
| Moderating? In order to qualify, one must be adamantly opposed to dumping to the extent that one polices their respective forum and pounces quickly to shut down pro-bd threads before a flame war can start. I think I would be eminently qualified for such a role. The only part I would have difficulty with is the part about lovingly embracing my dastardly "Get your cert in 2 Days" sponsors. | |

Be Ashamed of Yourself for Using Braindumps!
by Carl Campos
Here's a little story about why people using braindump web sites should be ashamed of themselves: The MIS program at the university I attended was a difficult one. That doesn't really explain it, though. Let's see...the curriculum was an anvil and we students were Wile E. Coyote. There were a few MIS classes that the rest of the business majors had to take. These were (of course) the easiest courses. Still, people complained about having to take them. One of the courses was held at 9:00 AM and again at 10:30 AM. The students worked very hard at perfecting their cheating skills, because the 9:00 AM students were selling test answers to the 10:30 AM students.
Of course the professor was told of the students' misdeeds, so he thought long and hard about how to solve this problem. Or at least he thought longer than he did when he decided to give two different classes the same set of test answers. To catch the cheaters, the professor gave the same test to each class, but rearranged the multiple-choice answers. After giving the test in the 10:30 AM class, the professor told the students that he knew that they had been cheating. The professor could prove it, because many of the tests had answers that mirrored those on the test in the 9:00 AM class. He said that any student who cheated should get up and leave. An 'F' would be given to that student for the semester and no more questions would be asked. Those that stayed and were found to have cheated would be expelled from the university. Half of the class got up and walked out.
One would be hard-pressed to argue that the school should have let these people slide. They got what they deserved. What they did was wrong and they should be ashamed of themselves.
The point? People (lots of them) post test questions and answers and trade links to braindump sites right out in the open. There are a million excuses:
"I'm just checking my progress!" AND
"But I really am learning the material." AND
"Well, you have to know the material to know if the braindump answers are right or wrong."
The university wasn't taking any excuses. Just like those flunky college students, if you're using braindumps, you're cheating. You should be ashamed of yourself.

| This is EXACTLY like the story about the King who has no clothes on. All the legitimate pros who have worked their butts off here at EN are bothered by this situation. But, we choose to keep our mouths shut. With this new Super Page that gets in your face, it is hard to ignore. Another approach could be to be inspired by this sorry state of affairs, and adopt some of this philosophy in your own lifestyle. Maybe lying to my boss and cheating on my wife could be used as effective tools to make me a better person. | |

| ghaouf 2003-05-18, 10:50 pm |
| ilegaly you could do anything
why not hack vue and make your self a candinate and pass the exam illegaly
same thing
you could give the vue test center some money and bring books to the exam illegaly
lots of stuff could be done illegaly but we do not do them at least not smart people
| rnrkenzie 2003-05-18, 11:30 pm |
| Those who use the braindumps to pass the exams might really be doing us a faver in the long run when thay start flooding the workplace and are not able to do thay're jobs. The demand and value of those who can will rise.
Since we can't stop the bd's
We can try to look at the bright side right?
The hell with that! Tie em to the stake! The damn cheats!!!!

| One of the things that annoys me the most is the abundance of BD sites - I can't seem to find any sample question pages on the net that AREN'T ripped from a test!
I want what i think most of us do - realistic practise questions with a good explanation of the why of the answer. All I can find (without paying for the reputedly good stuff like trancenders) are braindumps...
I know i should just bite the bullet and shell out for the good stuff... but dammit, if i already had lots of money i wouldn't want to get certified as badly so i could make more of it

| You mentioned that something happened to Pavlov earlier.
What happened to her? | |
| yanqui 2003-05-26, 3:30 pm |
| Check out the last line in Chodan's signature. THAT's what I feel. I've seen the same questions at several websites for practice exams, worded exactly the same way. What does that mean? That one of them is a braindump but the other isn't?
Not defending them, but how do I benchmark my knowledge with a 25- or 30-question quiz, when the real exam is significantly longer? The practice exams that go with the study material I purchased eventually get to be memorized material.
I guess an IT manager who knows his stuff will know pretty quick whether his new tech is a paper cert tech or the real thing. And it's up to the IT manager to sell the value of the skills of his crew to the boss, and if the IT manager values the skills of a paper cert equally with those of hard-bought knowledge, he'll have to answer to the officers of the company when his paper-cert crew cant reboot the server.

Check out this thread
although she posted at the begining of this year, it was only a brief visit.

| Oh
I see
nothing happened to Pavlov except Pavlov.
She chose to leave. Probably with good reason.
You made it sound like something happened "too" her. |
