Why is anti-terrorism applicable only to the US?

| Another homocide bombing today in Israel. The Palestinians have established a cabinet and named a Prime Minister. They say that they want peace. Actions speak louder than words. No one supports peace more than I do, but it may be time for Sharon to grow a pair. The US President would never tolerate this madness. | |

| Hello,
anywhere in the world where there are two (or more) 'tribes' there can be no peace until there is only one tribe...
much the same as the US after you sorted out your 'native Americans'.
It shouldn't matter much to us whether the Israelies or the Palastinians control the land, as long as there's only one of them there then there'll be no problems.
We need to band together with one side or the other and wipe out the 'other' one, then there'll be peace.
Same applies to India/Pakistan, the Balkans, Iraq, etc, too many tribes wanting total power.
Regards

| Much of what Peter says is unfortunately true. Unless you are prepared to blanket bomb civilians, fighting a war against indigenous terrorists is an almost impossible task. For every one martyred another 10 spring up to take his place.
Britain fought the IRA for 30 years without success. Realistically the best we could ever hope to achieve was a stalemate. Sadly similar situations exist all over the world today. |
