| ahm. this is becuse enforcer is away somewhere negotiating with our Webmaster Rescuing Sqaud. I hope our Webmaster get's out safe. Anwyayz, he has appointed X to post the GK questions on Wed-Fri. I'll take todays. Here it goes. It think this is an easy cake.
This is a very old rhyming riddle. See if you can answer it by reading and thinking very carefully.
As I was going to Saint Ives,
I crossed the path of seven wives.
Every wife had seven sacks,
Every sack had seven cats,
Every cat had seven kittens,
Kittens, cats, sacks, wives,
How many were going to Saint Ives?
Answers:
1- 343
2- 2401
3- 7
4- 14
5- None of the above.

| because you crossed the path of seven wives, their paths must be different or else you'd all be on the same path, all going to st. ives...so i think only you are going and the answer is 5-none of the above. | |

| Ah but what if you were going to St. Ives in Cornwall and by some stroke of coincidence the other lot were on their way to St. Ives in Cambridgeshire, then an all together different answer is required.. | |

Only one person was going to Saint Ives.
If he or she crossed the path of the seven wives, then the kittens, cats, sacks, and wives were all going in a different direction! | |
