cannot load roaming profile error?

| Here are the specs. We're using a domain with win2k servers. Some workstations use win2k, some use xp. A current worksatation uses win2k and pulls her profile off the server when she logs on. We got a new workstation for her, and it's loaded with winxp. We setup the service packs, antivirus, foxpro, etc with the domain administrator username which doesn't use a profile. When we try to logon through her username, it gives the error, cannot load roaming profile, the local profile will be used and will not be saved to the server when you logoff message. The weird thing is, even though we see this message, we still see her backround that is stored in her profiles when we login through her account. The netbios name she has on the new workstation isn't the same as the one on her computer, so i doubt it's a problem with a netbios issue. Anyone ever had any problems like this? Thanks. | |

| I have found there are differences between win2k profiles and XP profiles, it's best not to mix if possible. | |

| we've done this with plenty of other machines, and it's worked perfectly. Just in this computer we get this error, and i'm dumbfounded. |
