| Hi guys,
I'm using the CBTNuggets videos to study up for the Netowrk+ exam. CBT nuggets say they think you only need these videos to gain all the info for the exam but I lack confidence.
Has anyone else used JUST these videos ( there's two on CD's) and if so is that ok?
Thanks in advance. | |

I didn't use use the cbt videos but
I would never use just one source to prepare for an exam. I used several books,
several test engines, and many different practice question websites to study for network+.

| i used the CBT nuggets videos, and when i didn't feel confident, i read Sybex's Network+ by David Groth..
the videos were very good, but the book outlines some things much better than the video. the book lacks ISDN information, so i hit up webopedia for that..
hope it helps. | |

| just coz you got a computer doesn't mean you can turn your back on the books
unless you got them in pdf

| Just do what all the cool poeple do and have someone else take the test for you. then you dont have to know anyting. | |

| Thanks for the feedback gents. I guess I'll pick up a network + book somewhere. As for getting someone elso to take the test that's not cool, it's sad. I wouldn't take the exam if I didn't think I could pass it. Employers want 90% experience 10% qualifications in IT. | |

| All's I used was Mike Meyer's passport + book for under $30, and a couple of demo exams to familiarize myself on the possible testing format on a couple of websites and I did fine. Oh, not to mention experience. | |

| For me, I use the CBT nuggets to replace classroom training. I'm one of those people that learn better in that type of setting. I use books and testing software also. I like the "nuggets" because I can re-review anything I'm shaky on. But, the vids will never replace cracking a book. |
