| Does your company reimburse you for cert test and if so do you white out the score before turning it in? | |

| Yes, they do. I do not white-out the score. A pass is required for reimbursment. I make a copy of the score sheet from the testing center (for corporate) and then I make a copy of the certificate for my personel file. I usually make a copy for my boss too (so he will know I'm actively persueing Professional Developement). | |

| My company does reimbursement also. A pass is required to receive it. I have to give receipt of payment and then the notice that I have passed. No need to white out the score because they don't care about the score, just the cert. | |

| Yup, I get the reimbursemnt. As an IT Instructor, I have to take tons of tests. The company gives me a voucher. There is quite a bit of presure to pass (not from the company though). Some of the test prices are OUTRAGEOUS. So I do feel remotely guilty and really mad when I do (rarely) fail.
I really have no need to white out the score.

| Thanks for your replies I was just curious on how some other professional's treat this matter. As for myself I do not white out the score as it is just a credtial and the only thing that matters is that I can perform tasks that are asked of me. | |

| my company pays for the test up front. if you fail, they pay for the first re-test. fail again, you're on your own. the score doesn't matter, as long as it's a pass. like Supertech, i make a copy of the results from the test center and turn that in and then make a copy of the certificate when it arrives. | |

| My company will reimburse me pass or fail. But I only ask for it if I pass . | |

Honesty sucks, I would ask even if I didn't take the test.
